Great Stay

Been here 3 times over 30 years and doesn't disappoint. Away from the hustle of Sorrento but courtesy bus amazing. Lovely room with balcony and great maid service. Food lovely and lots of variety. Bonus of wonderful dining room staff. They made the stay really memorable. Lovely grounds and pool with great bar service and nothing too much trouble for the receptionists. Enjoy your stay at this friendly hotel. Thanks to all Jan

I want to but I can't

Let's see, the hotel is not bad, the room is spacious, the bathroom is quite complete, it doesn't have amenities, only shower soap and sink soap, a quite curious thing is that nowadays, in the 21st century, to be able to access the dining room when you have breakfast included, you have to ask for little cards every day like fair coupons to be able to enter the dining room, the service of the waiters in the dining room is depressing, they are refilling napkins and they push the box on the floor with their foot to refill napkins, it seems like they are waiting for you to leave the table even if there are many people, they don't open the other dining room hall so they don't have to clean more, the service is terrible, where is it located? well, on a not very central road where, despite that, it has a humble neighborhood on both sides of the hotel, but on both sides of the hotel the only thing you have is dirt and trash thrown on the ground, people sleeping on cardboard, which is not the most appropriate place to put a hotel, but well, I understand that the hotel is not to blame for that either, it has machines to get water or some snack at night on all floors, that is good, but if you don't have change, forget it because they don't accept cards, to be a four-star hotel there isn't even a minimal coffee maker with tea or coffee, which is what is usually had in all four-star hotel rooms, that said, the beds are very comfortable and you sleep very well and the air conditioning is acceptable, would I return? no, because it is a four-star hotel here in Italy, in Spain this would be a two-star, three at most, oh by the way, if you want to watch TV in Italian, Turkish, Russian, German, or even French, forget about watching it in Spanish because there are no channels for that and the TV is from the stone age, I mean it's not even a Smart TV, it doesn't have an Internet connection, you can't watch Netflix or anything, not even YouTube, you can't watch any of that, I had to watch the Spain final in Italian, anyway, for those looking for the comfort of a four-star hotel, I do not recommend it, neither for the location, nor for the treatment, nor for the comfort of the room, although the beds are very good and I repeat it, but I tell you, it has no amenities, no coffee, no coffee maker, no teapot, no Smart TV, there are no channels in Spanish, etc., another curious fact that you will see in the photos, my balcony is closed with a little door, well, the bathroom window is in the room, I mean on the balcony of the person in the room next door, and the Wi-Fi is terrible

Don’t recommend!!!!

Don’t recommend this hotel! Firstly is very far from the centre, second definitely not a 4 stars hotel.
The surrounding area is busy, fealty and people are sleeping at the corners, did not feel safe. On our arrival outside were 38 degrees, nobody offered at least water. The reception area and lobby looked like a 4 stars hotel, but people at the reception never smiled, never bothered to say hi back, very unwelcoming.
The room, bed was ok but the cover was stained, no way to cover with that, curtains broken, the floor was never washed, air conditioning barely working
Bathroom, towels changed daily but shower dirty and rusty, cracks in the wall. No fridge in the room and no coffee station, if you want coffee or tea need to go out
Definitely not recommend

Hotel was nice and clean, rooms were relatively modern and big enough. Bathrooms were all good, air conditioning worked well, generally OK. Only thing is it's a bit too far out of town if you're going sight seeing. We were there for 3 days / 2 nights and probably spent £200 + on Ubers getting in and out of town. It was super hot when we were there so was good to have a base to come back to and cool down and shower and go again but I think had we spent some of that money being closer to town it might have been better. Having said that a lot of the main sightseeing places are across Rome and in that heat, then you'd probably still be Ubering between them!
Other thing was no bar so couldn't even get some ice for the room. They only have a small restaurant that does breakfast and evening meals but you can't get anything outside of their opening times.
Also the area itself sees a bit run down, it's not bad and didn't feel unsafe in any way but things like the little cafe that we thought was next door had closed down, in fact everything around seemed to be shuttered and graffiti's. Like I say the hotel was clean and pleasant and we had a good stay, just things to be aware of.

Great hotel

I can honestly say this is such a lovely hotel and great value for money..
the rooms were lovely and spacious, and very clean. The bathroom was lovely and the bed was really comfortable.
The staff were really nice and helpful and booked our taxi at 4am
The hotel is a couple of minutes away from the bus stop and a bus into Rome takes about 15 minutes and only €1.50. I used my Apple Maps to help me get around including public transport, it was so easy and would advise people to do the same, it saves so much money.
I have no complaints and would recommend this to anyone wanting to visit Rome
