한국인 여행객들을 위해서 한글로 작성합니다
초등학교 아이와 함께 세가족이 함께하는 로마 여행을 위해 에어비앤비, 호텔을 모두 알아보다가 최종적으로 평점이 너무 좋은 Casa modelli로 숙소를 정했습니다. 이번이 로마 네번째 방문으로, 그동안 한인민박, 호텔을 이용했었는데 이번 숙소가 가장 좋았습니다.
Casa modelli, 누구에게 추천하는가?
로마 여행 시 시내 한가운데서 모든 관광지를 도보로 편히 갈 수 있는 곳을 고른다면 casa modelli 강력추천입니다. 트레비 분수 (엎어지면 코 닿을 거리) 1분거리, 나보나 광장 판테온 스페인 계단 모두 가볍게 도보권, 콜로세움 도보 20분 내외(오늘 아침 콜로세움까지 걸어감)입니다. 오늘 Two sizes에서 티라미수 먹고 숙소까지 걸어들어왔어요(약 15분 내외)
트레비분수의 북적거리는 소음이 하나도 들리지 않을 정도로 매우 조용합니다.
숙박 모든 층에 엘레베이터 있습니다.

숙소가 굉장히 넓습니다 :)
샤워실 수압는 한국과 비교했을 때 낮은 편이나 불편하진 않아요! 따뜻한 물 매우매우 잘 나와요!
조식이 매우 괜찮습니다. 조식은 오전 8시부터 제공됩니다. 조식에 대한 후기에서는 full spread가 아니다, 푸짐하지 않다는 의견이 보였는데 막상 와서 먹어보니 이 정도면 여행을 시작하는 아침식사로 매우 훌륭합니다. 싱싱한 과일, 로마에서 아침식사로 먹는 달콤한 코르네토, 따뜻한 커피, 오렌지주스, 요거트, 즉석에서 만들어주시는 달걀요리, 야채 등이 제공됩니다. 아침 일정이 있는 날 카페에서 세가족이 간단한 빵과 커피, 주스 등을 주문해도 30유로는 훌쩍 넘게 나옵니다. Casa modelli에서 조식 드시고 여행 시작하세요 ㅡ :)
제가 묵은 방에는 작은 주방이 딸려 있는데 주방 공간을 사용하진 않았습니다. 간단한 식기와 후라이팬, 인덕션, 냉장고(냉동고x)가 마련되어있습니다. 요리를 매번 해먹어야 한다면, 저는 주방을 사용하지 않아서 그 부분에 대해서는 드릴 말씀이 없습니다.
로마공항에서 숙소까지 공항 택시를 이용해 55유로로 아주 편하게 왔습니다. 가족여행이라면 택시 강력추천입니다 :)
Mariel과 문자로 소통할 수 있어서 아주 편했던 숙박이었습니다. 첫째날 저녁에 도착해서 많이 피곤했는데, 문앞에서 활기차게 반겨주었던 Mariel의
미소와 밝은 목소리 덕분에 로마 여행의 시작이 더 좋았던 것 같아요. 매일매일 방을 정리해줘서 얼마나 좋았는지 몰라요 고마워요 Mariel! :)
I looked at both Airbnb apartments and hotels for our family trip to Rome with our elementary-school-aged daughter, and eventually chose Casa Modelli because of its outstanding reviews. I can confidently say that this was the best accommodation we have stayed at during our four visits to Rome. We have previously stayed at Korean guesthouses and hotels, but Casa Modelli was definitely our favorite.
Who would I recommend Casa Modelli to?
If you are looking for a place right in the heart of Rome where you can comfortably walk to almost all the major attractions, I highly recommend Casa Modelli.
The Trevi Fountain is literally just a one-minute walk away — so close that you could almost fall out of bed and land there! Piazza Navona, the Pantheon, and the Spanish Steps are all within easy walking distance as well. The Colosseum is about a 20-minute walk away. In fact, we walked there this morning.
Today, we also had tiramisu at Two Sizes and walked back to Casa Modelli, which took about 15 minutes.
Despite being so close to the busy Trevi Fountain, the accommodation itself is incredibly quiet. We could not hear any of the noise or crowds from the fountain at all.
There is an elevator on every floor, which was very convenient.
And the air conditioning is VERY cool — something we really appreciated during the hot Roman summer.
The room was also surprisingly spacious. :)
The shower water pressure is a little lower than what we are used to in Korea, but it was absolutely fine and never inconvenient. And most importantly, the hot water worked perfectly!
Breakfast
The breakfast was another highlight of our stay.
Breakfast is served from 8:00 a.m. I had read some reviews saying that it wasn’t a “full spread” or that the breakfast wasn’t particularly abundant. But after actually having breakfast here, I thought it was more than enough for a great start to a day of sightseeing.
They serve fresh fruit, sweet cornetti — a typical Italian breakfast treat — warm coffee, orange juice, yogurt, vegetables, and eggs freshly prepared for you.
If you go to a café for breakfast with a family of three, even a simple order of pastries, coffee, and juice can easily cost more than €30. So I would definitely recommend having breakfast at Casa Modelli and starting your day from there!
The room
The room we stayed in had a small kitchen, although we didn’t actually use it.
It was equipped with basic dishes and utensils, a frying pan, an induction cooktop, and a refrigerator (but no freezer). If you are planning to cook regularly during your stay, I can’t really comment on how convenient the kitchen is since we didn’t use it ourselves.
Getting Here from the Airport
We took an airport taxi directly from Rome Airport to Casa Modelli, and it cost €55. It was incredibly convenient, especially since we were traveling as a family with luggage.
If you’re traveling with your family, I highly recommend taking a taxi. It made our arrival in Rome so much easier. :)

One of the things that made our stay particularly comfortable was being able to communicate with Mariel by text message.
We arrived in the evening on our first day and were quite tired, but Mariel greeted us warmly at the door with such a bright smile and cheerful voice. Her warm welcome made the beginning of our Roman holiday feel even more special.
She also cleaned and tidied our room every single day, which we absolutely loved.
Thank you so much, Mariel, for taking such good care of us! ❤️

The best experience, perfectly located
This is one of the best hospitality experiences we’ve had! The apartment was so comfortable and quiet (we slept so well) while being close to Trevi. The location was perfect because just a few minutes walk away there is amazing pizza, pasta, things to visit and stores. The manager was simply outstanding! She was extremely available, prepared and amazing breakfast everyday (and even made a dinner for us on the last day!), and clearly has the guests’ experience at heart. I don’t normally write reviews but I had to for Casa Modelli, you will not regret staying here!

Great location, breakfast and fantastic staff!
The location is great. Very comfortable room, steps from Trevi fountain but on a quiet side street, very near shops and great restaurants. Most attractions were a 10-15 min walk except the vatican (20-25 min). The unit was spacious, comfortable and the A/C worked great when it was 100+ outside. Breakfast on the roof deck terrace was amazing with eggs, omelets, meats, cheeses, baked goods, yogurt, fresh fruit, coffee, and the best freshly squeezed OJ I have ever had! The host/manager (Karla) was very helpful and kind to our entire family. She was responsive and even changed our car service at 11pm the night before our travel. The team was very nice and professional. If we have to critique, the elevator was a little small so we made multiple trips with our luggage. The top floor unit we stayed in had small balconies but no view as they opened up into other buildings. You could hear them set up for breakfast but minor issue. We def plan to stay here again and highly recommend Casa Modelli. Thank you again for a great stay and we were sad to leave!

Best spot in Rome.
We stayed at Casa Modelli in August of 2026. It was wonderful. Perfect location. Clean and well appointed rooms. AC. Spacious for a family with two teens. Delicious breakfast every morning on the comfortable roof top patio. The thing that really made it a stand out experience was the staff. They were all so caring and attentive. On our last night they even cooked us a beautiful dinner on the patio. Our airline went on strike while we were there and Casa Modelli took wonderful care of us and were so flexible and accommodating while we tried to sort things out. We ended up needing to stay 2 extra nights and we’re so grateful for the way they took care of us. It was our fourth time in Rome and by far the best place we have stayed. We would highly recommend Casa Modelli and will be staying there for all of our future trips.

Amazing Stay and Excellent Service!
I had a wonderful experience during my stay. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. What made my stay extra special was the amazing staff they were friendly, professional, and always ready to help. Thank you for the excellent service and warm hospitality. Highly recommended!
