nice surprise in the heart of Florence

I was recently a guest of Lost in Florence, the structure is in the heart of Florence, the staff were very kind and attentive. The room I slept in was very beautiful and large and overlooking an internal garden it was also very quiet.
comfortable bed, the only thing missing was soap in the bathroom but having to rebook another evening, I was told that the management had provided soap and shampoo in the bathroom. for the rest the welcome and perfect room. There is also a coffee maker in the room. so just buy some biscuits and breakfast is guaranteed.

Disappointing

Great location in the historic center, but here ends the positive. If you are not young and have some health problems, keep in mind that there is no elevator and the stairs are very steep. Better not to come in winter: in the room when I arrived it was 15 degrees. Tall, non-wireless people will find the bathroom a bit too narrow. Lastly, despite the fact that there is a coffee machine with capsules, not even a bag of sugar.

SLEAK.

Bad room. In the middle of winter heating was not possible because “in time”, the room was at 18 degrees inside. Dust, dirt .. the blanket of the bed was all dirty with something “brown” that did not look like coffee, but .... poop!
Tiny bathroom, that if you sit down to make a need you end up with your head in the Plexiglas of the shower.
But the gem is one: the BOILER IN THE ROOM, which I don't even know if it was in accordance with the law, and that if in the night unfortunately it leaks gas, you get killed without realizing it.
After (more than fair) complaints about it, and on request to change rooms (AT LEAST FOR THE BOILER) the host tells me that he has no other rooms and that, if I leave, he refunds me the total expense. I would not have reviewed negatively if, at HIS request to leave, HE HAD NOT BLOCKED MY PHONE NUMBER, because (I THINK) he wanted to pocket the sum (acting in a way that sleazy) playing the smart.
Thanks to Booking (and the threat of complaint) I was able to recover (with difficulty) the sum and book in another structure. I could claim damages for “ruined vacation”, but I still remain a gentleman. Of course I've got everything photographed.

Nightmare stay

The photos speak for themselves.
Absolutely serious hygienic and structural conditions.
They got five-star hotels to pay for a vomiting room.
315 euros for two nights, indecent.
Dirt and filth everywhere.
Mold in the shower, horror movie bathroom. Don't be fooled by the photos on booking and the proximity of the property to the centre.

Dirty place

The place looked like wasn’t cleaned in weeks . The shower wasn’t working properly. The toilet not flushing.
I get is a cheaper place than the rest but the conditions aren’t worth it.
And the landlord is not helping as well .
Waste of time and money .
