Perfect location

The apartments are very well located within walking distance of Astoria metro station. Plenty of restaurants nearby and within walking distance of the Fashion Street. We had a luxury apartment, number 7. Very spacious and clean (could use some maintenance). The bed was fine and the view too. The receptionist is very friendly and speaks good English. Definitely recommended when visiting Budapest.

Unprofessionalism

As soon as we arrived at the hotel, we noticed that the large curtain positioned above the bed was missing. The window faced the street, surrounded by buildings, and it was really large. So we went down to the reception to inform them of the situation, but the only response we got was that the curtain had broken that morning and that they would call immediately to have it fixed; so, without making too much of a fuss, we accepted. Considering that we arrived on Wednesday, we hoped they would fix it or at least change our room. We couldn't sleep at night, and since it had a clear view of the street and the other buildings, we didn't have a shred of privacy. This even forced us to try to improvise a DIY curtain (as in the photo), which is truly shameful for a hotel of this kind. During our stay, we asked for updates every day, but they didn't know what to tell us. Then, after a while, they told us they would speak with the manager to give us at least a partial refund, but that never happened. The room was otherwise nice, but the websites stated that we would have daily cleaning, whereas we discovered that we had to book it in advance. Once we returned, we requested information regarding the compensation promised to us, but they never replied to us again.
It is a shame to have been treated like this by a hotel that was supposed to be “luxury”.

Hard to figure out how to even get into the building as there was little instructions on that. Then we had to climb stairs, not mentioned. And the gate pass didn’t work. The AC was not great either. Toilet seat was broke.

The location was great. The room was clean and comfortable. It’s an apartment not a hotel which worked for us perfectly.

We have a good time at the property, the service, specially the included breakfast was a plus! Also the location is perfect to walking to the river and important places in Pest. The only problem was the A/C was broken for the entire 3 nights stay.
