What to expect when renting a car from Budapest
Budapest is generally divided into two areas, west side Buda and east side Pest. Getting to your destination
The eastern side of the Danube river, Pest is filled with services that can be accessed during your stint in Budapest. Cheap yet filling meals from various restaurants, a lot of places to sleep in, and cafes to simply enjoy, Pest is a great stop-over place.
From the airport, drive to Budapest by travelling through the Route 4 towards District X all the way the area of Pest.
Located south-west of Budapest near the southern bank of Lake Balaton, Siofok is famous for its beaches and is actually considered as one of Hungary's most popular holiday destinations. It is also a place where people go and party, enjoy, and dance the night away.
Accessible via the E71, reach Siofok in approximately one hour and eight minutes. Tolls are to be expected.
A town located north of Budapest on the right bank of the Danube in the Danube Bend, Visegrad is a small castle town that is famous for the remains of the Renaissance residence of King Matthias.
Visegrad is reachable via Route 11 from Budapest. The journey should cover 45 kilometres in less than one hour, provided there are no road obstructions.
