The Cotton House is an older property. My room was fine, though a bit small. The bathroom needed a bit of work. Very small sink and shower, with only a small shelf for toiletries. Toiletries supplied by the hotel consisted of a tiny bottle of shampoo and skin moisturizer. The soap dispenser over the sink was empty
The bed was adequate- could use a new one, and there was only one small pillow and a small blanket that doubled as a bedspread.
Breakfast was very good: eggs, sausage, rolls, nice coffee selection.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
I prefer newer properties with a few more amenities, so if you do, too, you might want to look elsewhere. But for a vintage experience, it’s a good place. And the location is great, near bars, restaurants, etc.
Cool lamps in the room.

Very clean rooms. comfy bed and wonderful shower, excellent location and staff were very friendly. Breakfast was decent, not a huge selection but it’s a very small hotel so understandable. I enjoyed my stay here.

Lovely hotel, lovely staff.

We stayed at the Cotton House Hotel from 13th to 17th June 2026. What a gorgeous hotel. Great location (near Nyugati train station). The decor is impressive and our hotel room was excellent. The staff are all friendly and Brigitta, on the front desk is lovely, nothing is too much for her, a total credit to the hotel. I would definitely stay there again.

Very cool 1930's jazz themed hotel in convenient location near mail train station. Young man at front desk was very friendly and helpful at check-in and throughout. Very abundant breakfast included in very reasonable room price.
