Room was okay, big window, no aircon, building work going on til 10pm and then from 7am which made it hard to relax.

Absolutely fine and happy again

I even know why some people give a negative review. The room was clean, as was the bathroom. It was clear that it is a narrow double bed. The mattress was hard... I know not everyone likes that...but is supposed to be right for all weight classes. And I prefer it that way anyway. The gentleman at the reception was very friendly. We stayed 2 nights at the end of April there because we were also at Strothmann. It was just around the corner. We didn't book breakfast with it. We are close to the Edeka... there is a bakery where you can have breakfast. Since it was on its way to the subway anyway, that was clever. We would definitely book there again!

Room paid but slept in the car.

Customer service practically non-existent. Reception not staffed and doors locked during opening hours. I booked and paid for a late check-in. When I was on site, the check-in machine did not work. I stood in front of the hotel for over an hour and tried everything. Eventually I gave it up and slept in the car! With the first signs of fever, I waited in vain for an employee to open the door. No reply to the message I had written to the hotel that night via their website. So they knew I was there trying to get into my booked room. As a result, my booking was cancelled because I would not have arrived. I tried to find a solution with Booking for weeks and even with them nobody from the hotel gets in touch. Absolute cheekiness.
Thanks for the fever and the bill.
