A wonderful hotel in the middle of the city.

Very nice rooms, top location in Maxvorstadt, dozens of restaurants in the immediate vicinity. Parking is available in the yard on advance reservation, public transport can be reached in 5-10 minutes. The icing on the cake are the owners, who take care of everything super friendly. We will definitely be back!

Friendly and helpful hostess/host

A nice B&B (with elevator) that is located in the back with room for 3 cars in the courtyard. Very quiet. In the room everything is provided: laundry products and hairdryer. No air conditioning but that's not necessary either. We got advice for restos and biergarten. For breakfast you can choose between a Fitness and Continental breakfast with homemade jams in individual Weckjars. We had a very pleasant stay here.

Explore the art area

If you want to explore the art district on foot, this is the right place for you.
Small hotel, nice rooms, good breakfast, all the museums in the art district are within walking distance. There are numerous restaurants in the area, including Vietnamese and Japanese.

Enjoyable stay in a beautiful city

We stayed four nights and enjoyed it very much.
Location: It was easy to get to from the highway driving up from Fussen. We liked that it is in a neighbourhood not much frequented by tourists yet we had no trouble at all reaching all the sights we wanted to see by foot.
Host/owner. Alexandra was helpful and good to communicate with both before and during our stay. Having said that, if you need 24/7 front desk service this may not the place for you as the front desk is not manned for much of the day once breakfast is finished.
Room/facilities: We found the decor throughout and in our room to be quite attractive. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom had a huge walk-in shower with good water pressure. We had a balcony overlooking the “courtyard” (cobbled parking area) and enjoyed sitting out one evening when the weather was suitable.
Breakfast: There were two options - yogurt & muesli with a fruit salad or meat & cheese. Each came with a boiled egg and some buns with which to enjoy Alexandra’s homemade jams. The quality was good and the servings generous but after three days I pined for some variety.

Pleasant and friendly

The Hotel im Hof came highly recommended by friends who had stayed there on several visits. Due to family issues we unfortunately had to postpone our vacation. However the interaction with the Hotel in Hof both by phone and email was very pleasant. All of our questions about the stay and the neighborhood and our requests were addressed in a friendly and professional manner.
I am keeping it on the top of my list of Munich hotels.
