had a lovely short break here shame the lift, was brok 2 nights but not a problem for a fitness fanatic like me The staff were great pity the tube station directly outside was closed but you cant blame the hotel for that. Great location. Nice beer as well. I fell in love with the receptionist shame i did not get stuck in the lift with her .

Great location, quiet back rooms are perfect

The location of this hotel is absolutely fantastic and so easy to reach everything from here. We took a room at the back like a friend suggested and it was lovely and quiet, the rear balconies are really pleasant to sit on in the evening. The room was spacious and clean, and although the TV is a bit older it did the job just fine for us. Breakfast was good and reliable every morning, exactly what you need before a long day of sightseeing. The staff were very nice and always greted us with a smile, they really made us feel welcome throughout our stay. Even when a small issue came up with cleaning, it was nothing that spoiled the mood. Munich itself is a very unique city and this hotel is the perfect base to explore it. We had a truly relaxing time and the whole experiance was smooth from check in to check out. Would happily book again next time we visit and recommend it to anyone.

Okay

This was a fine hotel if you visit already knowing:
- there is no cleaning of the rooms
- you have to ask for toiletpaper every second day
- no aircon
- some of the staff aren’t that friendly
We were unlucky to visit when the the metro was closed. But when it opens again I think the location is pretty good.
We had our room in the back house and it was very quite!
The room was a nice size and the beds were fine too.
The bathroom was fine to.
We were so lucky to meet the cleaning staff on the 4th day and asked her if she could clean our room, which she did. So keep an eye out for her, you might be lucky.
The towels are VERY thin and bad quality, so you need to ask for new ones in the reception quite often.

The Bold hotels location is literally in the center and easy to get around Munich .
One issue as Europe is experiencing a heat wave - no AC in rooms .
Other than that , staff very friendly and helpful .

To be avoided.

It is not a hotel that I would recommend, too expensive for the services offered. Staff not very welcoming, even unfriendly. A friend and I shared a room for €330.-. We had to explicitly ask to have clean linens and for our room to be cleaned. The water in the carafe made available to guests at the reception costs money, which is exaggerated considering the rates charged. Everything suggests that the main criterion is not to satisfy the clientele but to save money on services.
