Perfect and atypical
What an unusual and original place. With a decor that transports us to the 20-30s. The decor makes us forget where we are and gives the impression of being at Mary Poppins or Harry Potter. The bedding is of very good quality. The breakfast quality and especially original which is nice. Very good value for money

This hotel was exceptional! The decor and furnishing was very beautiful and tasteful, the room was very comfortable and looked just like in the photos, and the breakfast was the best hotel breakfast I’ve ever had. The staff were extremely nice and helpful and we left the hotel very happy.
I only wish the room had an additional lock that could only be managed from inside the room, but other than that the hotel was perfect for us. We might come back to Lyon just so we can enjoy the hotel once again!

Really lovely, old fashioned hotel. Very helpful staff who made restaurant recommendations that we then visited and enjoyed. And very central.

A LITTLE GEM IN LYON
We spent two nights at this lovely little hotel in the heart of Lyon. We were welcomed by a receptionist who – in these times – was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Both she and the rest of the front desk staff were really helpful and service-minded. Although we arrived before the official check-in time, our room was ready.
The hotel is decorated in a romantic Empire style, which is consistent throughout – from the room décor to the housekeeping staff’s uniforms. We were particularly pleased with the spacious bath, which allowed for some lovely morning soaks with a cup of coffee to hand.
The breakfast restaurant is decorated in the same style and offers a wide selection of French specialities, including the option of customised egg dishes.
A major plus is the hotel’s central location. Although there are 10–12 steps from street level to the reception, there is a lift from there up to the upper floors. We were even offered help carrying our suitcases.
We highly recommend this lovely hotel with its high standard of personalised service and look forward to returning here.

Loved this hotel room was really funky. The only thing I didn’t like was the open shower because everywhere gets soaked
