I will be honest and say I had doubts about if I would like this hotel as it looked quite dated in the pictures and I worried it would be in bad condition, but my room was very well kept. The room was comfortable and very clean (no cracks, peeling wallpaper, suspicious looking stains, or rusty/dirty fixtures). Water pressure was great, quiet rooms, free laundry use for use, 24hr reception.
Very minor downsides were the room was quite dark, and no kettle/coffee machine or fridge in room. Overall, yes the hotel is old fashioned but very central, service was good, and price/quality ratio for downtown Vancouver really cannot be beat. Would book again.

This is a budget boutique hotel--its most important feature is its ideal location in downtown Vancouver. Many great restaurants are within walking distance, and there's a grocery store across the street. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was spacious.

This place was the cleanest hotel! It was cute and vintage.. but ever so clean! Bathrooms are common fir some of the rooms.. but no hassle at all. Great restraunt/bar next door and good location.

I LOVED this hotel. It reminded me of the quaint little hotels I would stay in when traveling in Europe. Lots of character and charm. It is not modern and fancy, if that is what you are looking for but it is super cozy and homey. The staff was super helpful and kind when I had a super late check-in. The location was great. I felt very safe as a solo female traveler. Great place!!

The Kingston Hotel in Vancouver city centre was a great place to stay. We stayed in the one bedroom with a private bathroom and that is my recommendation. The room was clean, very comfortable and had air conditioning
The staff were very helpful. The Kingston is within walking distance of everything you need; shopping, restaurants, night life, stops fot transit and tour buses and the Aqua bus, The harbour and tourist sights.
