The room was clean and spacious. The hotel is well located in the downtown core area. The staff were also very accommodating.

We stayed here overnight on our way to Banff... and while it was fine, I'm not sure it was worth the $500 price tag. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the staff were extremely helpful... that said, the hotel itself is just old. Our room smelled musty (especially if the AC was on) and the carpet was peeling up with a whole line where the carpet had been unraveled and you could see the underlay.

Front desk staff were amazing! Room was clean. Pool and sauna were nice, they also have ice bath tubs.

Good hotel in a central location

The location near the river and the ice district was great. Service was all around fantastic. The hotel amenities like the pool and the fitness centre were great. The room was a bit dated but very clean and spacious. Don’t forget to walk by the Fairmount hotel to take the free funicular to the river. Once they touch up the rooms and especially the bathrooms, it will be a great hotel.
