We loved the stay here. The rooms were spacious and the breakfast was clean and perfect. The swimming pool amenities were the highlight though and it was really great.

Overall Disappointing Experience

We chose the hotel for the pool and waterslide, however when our grandchildren went to use the pool after a day at Calaway Park, it had been closed as a result of an incident. This was not the fault of the hotel, however the option of a sister hotel pool was not offered until it was too late to take them up on it. Other issues - room phone did not work, so we had to go down to the desk to speak with them, the office chair was broken and did not adjust, and when we went to use the ice machine it was out of ice. Breakfast was mediocre and items were not refilled when low, and it felt somewhat disorganized. It is a fairly large hotel, and had only 3 handicap parking stalls, which were all full when needed. I always suggest a chair height toilet for hotels to assist those with mobility issues, as well as better safety bars in the tub/shower. I would not stay there again.

We booked a room for two adults and two kids. We only had enough towels for two. Not a huge end of the world problem but details do matter. A room booked for four, should have enough towels without calling the front desk.
Room 108, our thermostat didn't work properly. It would display the room temperature at 18 degrees when theirs no way. More like 24 degrees. You'd have to set the temperature to 16 just to get the room to cool off and then it would get super cold

Had two rooms booked for a 4 night stay, my mom in one room and my boyfriend and I in the second room. Upon checking in we were notified that they were doing cable box upgrades. My mom's tv had some glitching/buffering but our room had nothing but issues. Buffering, blurry picture and then just lost signal completely. (I know we weren't there to watch tv but it would have been nice for background noise at least). We notified the front desk and it was fixed when we got back from our supper, but then later on the next morning completely lost signal again! Luckily we were leaving that morning. Also, breakfast on the first two days was decent, but on the second two days they removed the pancakes that were available the first two nights and also didn't have margarine. When we asked about the margarine we were told they ran out and the next day when we asked again they rudely told us "we're out of margarine, what do you want us to do about it?" There was one lady running the entire room by herself and the garbages were always overflowing and the tables always messy. Half the time people had to ask for cutlery and napkins cuz everything ran out so fast. Upon checking out, I was going to bring some of these issues up, but when I handed our keys to the lady running the front desk, she didnt even ask how our stay was or anything, she just said "you're good to go", so I just left. Needless to say I'll never stay at this hotel again and wouldn't recommend it.

Stayed for a tournament in the area, during Stampede- as expected it was super busy all weekend but the hotel & staff were great!
Room was clean- AC thermostat kept kicking off, and would stop working, mostly in the middle of the night. That was annoying but maintenance was quick to respond during daylight hours.
Breakfast was fine, nothing to get excited about. Dining room was kept tidy throughout and was big enough there were always tables even when the crowds were in.
Pool had extremely heavy use, but remained in a good condition and the hours for pool use were terrific, allowing families with smaller kids to get in some time when it wasn't so busy.
Gym is adequate, did the trick for the ones who didn't want to miss a day!
We will be back!
