Port Menier Airport

Port-Menier Airport is a public-use airport operated by the Government of Quebec, serving Port-Menier in Quebec, Canada. The airport is located 2.7 nautical miles (five kilometres; 3.1 miles) east of the town, and is elevated at 167 feet or 51 metres above mean sea level. It can be located on the map using the coordinates 49°50′11″N, 064°17′19″W (49.837067 latitude, -64.291115 longitude). It has an asphalt paved runway, 11/29, which is 4,886 x 150 feet or 1,489 x 46 metres.

Port-Menier is a small fishing town on the western end of Anticosti Island in Quebec, Canada. As the main hub of Anticosti Island, Port-Menier’s population doubles during the summer, when seasonal workers and tourists go to the town. Outdoor tourism is its main industry, including deer hunting.
