Being the largest and fifth busiest airport in terms of passenger traffic in Canada to date, Edmonton International Airport makes a convenient port of entry in the region. It is an open-air museum where costumed role-players recreate the life of early Ukrainian pioneers settled in the east-central Alberta area from 1892 to 1930.

Buses and a 16-stop Light Rail Transit cover most of the city of Edmonton. The buses operate at 30-minute intervals between 5:30 am and 1:30 am. Taxis are also available here, with various companies offering car hire services for those who prefer to drive themselves around the area.
