Spa service not so good

After 4 days on our motorbikes we desperately needed a massage. We asked the hotel and was recommended to Dong Van resort because they own the only spa in town. Their shuttle promptly came and pick us up at our hotel. The resort looks quite peaceful at night so we were very excited for the massage. The herbal bath and steam room was nice. You can stay and soak as long as you want. The massage we were so looking forward to, sadly was the worst massage ever in Vietnam. At first, they didn't use proper oil, so the masseuse couldn't massage properly. I asked her what she put on my body and was it oil- she laughed and told me to give a 1 min- and ran outside- then she came back with another bottle- smelled like cheap oil but it was smooth enough for her to now massage. I asked her what style of massage she was doing because she was beating my body a lot with her fists and doing pressure point at places on my head and body that no masseuse have ever pressed. She said she has no idea, the owner brought someone from the bigger town and taught her briefly. I'm quite sure that she has no idea what she was doing but I comforted myself that it was relaxing enough maybe i could fall asleep. Nope, karaoke started blasting from the hotel and i had to endure terrible karaoke music until the terrible massage was over. My partner massage was no different- despite the fact that we requested for experienced masseuse and were told that we got the best masseuses in house. Oh yeah, when we asked about the karaoke, they proudly said that they play it every night... And even though we told the owner that the massage was not up to par, we just got ignored and sent home. Definitely not recommended.
