Good cost benefit but poor location for those looking for agitation

The leisure area is very good, it has a pool table, nets, music, and a nice atmosphere. The organization of the kitchen was also great and there was even a community stock, we needed salt for two days and we were gladly offered. On Friday night there was a fraternity that was pretty nice, they could do all weekends because it is great for the guests to get to know each other (we made friends on this day). A highlight to Fabian who was very friendly with us at all times.
The biggest disappointment was the Listing that the bathroom was private, where it was actually shared with another room. There were several other rooms that used another bathroom, so being with only one was ok, but if we knew this information maybe we would have discarded the option in our searches. In addition, the door of the bedroom closet did not close and made a lot of noise. There was a day it rained and even with the window closed water entered and weted one of our backpacks that was on the floor. All of these are light things that can be calmly adjusted. Finally, the location is not very close to bars, restaurants, fortunately there is a market at 6 squares, but we did everything walking these days because the city is very safe and very good to walk around. The beach yes is close, a square and it's there. :)

There was no hot water on the shower, pretty noise, people were playing pool outside, there was a TV screen in the room but no local nor TV channels, it was just to connect to the cell phone. The kitchen facilities were good for a hostel. Parking is on the street

Cute place out of town

The place is very cute and the general area is very clean. They have everything you need in the kitchen and the outdoor area to sit is very cosy. The staff is also very nice. We had a private room, and it was nice except for the fact that it was very damp and also smelled that way. You could not open the window in the bathroom, which means the condensation remains in the room. Also, the sprinkler was set up in a way that it came in through the window. You could also not close the window the whole way.
Beach is 500 meters away and there is a bus into town.

Avoid the 6 bed dorms. Or maybe just avoid

This hostel is all style in the photos and no substance when you're there. Just be warned that if you book a 6 bed dorm you're in a room in which you can't swing a cat, never mind store bags for 6 people. The bunks are cramped in together and don't have ladders, there is 1 step ladder to share between the three top bunks, which doesn't reach them. The lockers are small and by the door, so anyone accessing them is blocking entry and exit for everyone else. I'm not sure this room would meet building regulations in Europe.
There also aren't enough showers in the hostel. The breakfast is ok though there isn't enough seating. The kitchen is also small and usually busy with people living/working here.
This place wants to look like a luxury hostel but it is in fact the opposite. And when you complain about the size of the room, they're happy to give you a discount on the condition that they cancel your online booking, so you can't leave them a negative review on whichever site you booked on. Bad all round!

Nice staff, Average experience

The hostel was clean and pleasant, but a little removed from the main attractions (inconvenient if traveling without a car) and didn't offer the same information most hostels offer for local tips on what to do.
