Provides the basics

We stayed for a night at Hotel Papiros, which is a bit away from the central area of the city. The area around the hotel has some constructions of reasonable architectural value that are in a terrible state of conservation, which signals that that region, which is close to a deactivated port, has already lived a relevant economic period. The hotel has parking. The breakfast and quite simple. The employees were very polite and attentive to us.

Very warm

Very nice country hotel with excellent service from its staff.
It has a beautiful park with a swimming pool and great tranquility for rest.
The hotel is a very well renovated old house. The rooms are comfortable and a good size, with good beds. Cleanliness is excellent.
Breakfast is acceptable.
The negative point is the location, and since the hotel does not have a restaurant, to go to dinner, the closest thing (and I would say the only thing in the area) is a pizzeria 8 or 10 blocks away.
I do not recommend this hotel for those who do not have their own transportation.
Without a doubt I would return.

Beautiful place, great service!

My husband and I stayed at Hotel Papiros for 4 nights. The hotel was always clean and nice. The employees are super friendly and always willing to help you in any way they can. The breakfast was fresh and delicious and the pool was a fresh oasis to the heat in Paysandu!
We look forward to returning to stay there again.

Neat Hotel in small city

Small hotel in small city but neat n clean. Language is big barrier as no one speaks English. Rooms small, bathroom even smaller. Breakfast quite average. Location not in down town and near to port quite in deserted area.

Hotel confortable

Es un hotel con un estilo antiguo pero muy hermoso, las habitaciones son espaciosas, de buena higiene. El patio es un lugar muy agradable para estar, tiene un parrillero y una piscina hermosa. El desayuno está bastante bien, tenía distintos opciones e incluso fruta, jugos, yogurt, café, te, leche, panes, fiambres, masitas, etc
La ubicación tal vez no es la mejor ya que está bastante lejos del centro y de la terminal de ómnibus.
