Busy time but nice staff

3 weddings and still a smile from everyone.
I arrived early to visit with family. Staff was very accommodating to the bunch of us who arrived before 4pm. The desk agent told me there were 3 wedding groups that night and they had been full the night before.
No restaurant or bar. I did see people go I to they marketplace.
Room was clean. Except the AC unit. Toilet was low. If traveling with and older person ask for and accessible room.
Only 1 elevator that was a long walk from reception. We opted to wait for a first floor room. There is a lower level on part of the building.
Courtyard looked like it needed some landscaping.

It was ok. The front desk staff could have been a lot warmer and friendlier at check in and at checkout. Room was overpriced for what it offered. I was desperate and needed a room quickly otherwise I would have stayed elsewhere

Center courtyard had not been mowed or picked up while we were there. But it was a packed weekend. Graduations and weddings. Everything else was too notch!

This is a clean, well-situated facility. Comfortable bed and friendly staff. Note that there is a $10 fee to park your vehicle and breakfast is not included, though it's available on the premises for a fee. There is only one mirror in the room and it's over the sink. How about upgrading the hairdryer; it's got to be at least 15 years old! The place itself is reasonably priced. While bottled water is in the room for the coffee maker, it'll cost you $5 to use the water - tap water works for me and it's free!

$10/day parking is ridiculous in Poughkeepsie. Coffee maker in the room had coffee pod left in from previous guest. Conditioner in shower empty or pump didn't work. Part of bed backboard disconnected from main part. Balcony filthy with cobwebs dead leaves and bugs, probably not cleaned in months. I wouldn't have minded if this waa $100/night but a Wednesday and Thursday was $650 because of Marist graduation. If youre going to charge top dollar rooms should reflect that.
