Pleasently Surprised

I read a couple of negative reviews before visiting this location. Not sure where those individuals were staying but it was not this location. Facility looked almost new. Bright, clean and appealing. Every staff member we encountered was professional, friendly and greeted us each time we saw them. Facility and room was spacious and exceptionally clean. Amenities are excellent and pool/patio area was wonderful. Beautiful fire pit and seating are. Mattress was very comfortable. We stayed two nights and unlike many locations, the room was refreshed after our first night. Kudos to a great staff.

Roaches at a 4* hotel

I stayed in Dothan at the Hilton Doubletree in room 207 on June 13. I was there for business. I woke up on June 14 and took my toothbrush out of its cover, which was laying on the bathroom counter for me, brushing my teeth the night before. I brushed my teeth and took the cover to put back my toothbrush, and a baby roach crawled out of the cover. Basically, I brushed my teeth with a roach toothbrush. I went to the front desk and they gave me some scope. They were out of toothbrushes and could not give me a toothbrush. I ama diamond member, and I was offer 20,000 points for this disgusting issue. 20,000 points would not even cover the cost of the room…in fact to stay tonight one night later it would cost 50,000 points to stay… I think Hilton can do better. My advice is to stay at the Marriott if you stay in Dothan.

This hotel is excellent and I will stay there each time I visit Dothan. It is has great amenities, is clean, and the staff was very courteous, helpful, and professional.

It was an awesome stay the staff was terrific.Matt was great The lady serving breakfast she made us feel like we were at home we loved her.The only thing with what we payed we wish we knew breakfast cost money.
