Lovely New Hotel on Clearwater Beach

Stayed here a week’s vacation and it was a great choice. Room was spacious, very clean and I love that every room has a deck overlooking the gulf! Large walk-in shower was a plus. The pools were really crowded on the weekend but M-Th we practically had the pools to ourselves (our stay was mid-August after many schools were back in). Monday we did the spa pool on the backside of the pool and it literally was just me and my husband for the day. There’s a market in the lobby where we got coffee and breakfast each morning, so we didn’t try Toast. However we did have drinks in the bar at Drift several nights and it’s a lovely setting with friendly service.

Amazing staff

My first stay was so amazing that I had to come again—the staff (especially Yasmine, the front desk receptionist) made my trips unforgettable. My family was warmly welcomed by Yasmine, who during our stay was so helpful and considerate; she always helped and guided us when we had any questions. She was always willing to help us at her best ability, which made my day everyday.

Family vacation

We had a very nice and relaxing stay here at Opal Sol. Our rooms were comfy and the bathrooms very clean. Definitely would recommend to try the spa here or at the sister hotel (Opal Sand) that is a short walk away. They have free snacks available to grab too. Staff here is very friendly!

Excellent Hotel!

We typically stay in Sand Key but decided to stay in Clearwater. Opal Sol is the perfect spot, right in the middle of everything that you can walk to. And the views are awesome. Pools are excellent. And staff was great. Highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

Amazing

We had an amazing weekend at Opal Sands! The resort is beautiful, the location is perfect, and the views are incredible. Everything was clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. We loved being able to walk right out to the beach and easily walk to restaurants and entertainment. Perfect for a relaxing weekend getaway—we will definitely be back!
