Great Weekend

We had a wonderful experience with this team planning a family event. It was a perfect evening. The food was delicious. The staff were flawless. The rooms were lovely.

The worst hotel I have ever been to!

The worst service ever!!!
The front desk has very slow and unprofessional people who don’t even know how to use a computer wasting ppl time. The line was extraordinary just to check in!
The roller in my room got clogged and it took them forever with multiple reminders to come and unclog it. Once the toilet was unclogged they left water with sh** everywhere and refused to cleanup. We had to clean up ourselves. Never coming back to this place again. The rooms are tiny, showers are horrible. Don’t waste your money PLEASE!!!

Beautiful common areas - inconsistent service

Beautiful modern common areas and gym. Great outdoor patio. Location is at CU - near fraternity houses. Walkable to Pearl St. Beware if coming for a weekend. It is loud late into night and frat parties can be heard in rooms. I wore earplugs after midnight.
Staff and automation has issues. We arrived at 1:30, waited on a reception line for 20 minutes only to be told “no rooms- give us your number and we will text you when it’s ready. Marriott’s guaranty is checkin by 4”.
We went to Boulder and had lunch. Came back at 4. No texts. Waited on line for another 20-30 minutes. “Room not ready - we have elite Bonvoy members that like late check out and we must honor their loyalty and status.”
Waited another hour and got a key around 5. Wasted most of day. They did reduce our rate and give us a food credit but we paid for a room for a day not 15 hours. Staff was nice but seemed overwhelmed when busy. No automated check in or mobile keys which would reduce lines.
Rooms were odd and small. Two beds headboard to headboard in a narrow room with no closet. Luggage goes under beds and hanging item literally on the wall.
First day no one cleaned the room. Not sure why. We weren’t told that there was no daily housekeeping.
The check in issue is a moxy thing bc we stayed in a moxy in NYC and also waited an unreasonable time just to be told room was not ready at allocated time. We rarely stay at chains and the push for cost efficiency is evident with staff training and service. Everyone nice but it is frustratingly low service for the guest.
Overall the location is great but we were disappointed with service.

Like staying in a dorm room. There was absolutly bithing in the room except the very basics. No coffee maker. No closet. Mattress felt like a dorm mattress.
