A perfect little stay with beautiful little family

The property and the whole family were welcoming. Plenty of off-road parking and I wanted to change my circumstances at the very least last minute I.e. I was standing in front of them with my “dog” and they were most accommodating about her. They couldn’t be more helpful. The room was clean and comfortable with everything I needed.
I went here for the Bassenthwaite Triathlon and the guest house was only about 200 yards away from the start line! Compared to others the room price was excellent.

Excellent & perfect location

Perfect location for what we needed. Very friendly and kind hosts. Room was just what was needed for 9 nights with own bathroom. Breakfast was 5*. Would definitely recommend and would love to join you again in the future.

Great relaxing stay

Another great stay in this welcoming hotel B&B. Secret recipe muesli to die for followed by full English and everyone is set for a day’s climbing.

highly recommend

I am surprised by how wonderful the breakfast can be! It it really nice with such a good price that the breakfast is included. Definitely recommend for dog families. They very friendly with dogs

Great place for Bass Week at the sailing club

Spent a week there as I was sailing at Bass Week. The porridge with fruit is great
