Nice rooms central location

Lovely spacious room nicely furnished and close to railway and town centre. Helpful staff. Not cheap but worth it. Lovely old building with character.

Comfy warm and functional

This is a throw back to lockdown. Book online, no reception or checkin all done by text and key lockbox. No good for disabled access.
The room was comfy and warm, with the usual iron, hairdryer, tea coffee etc. new or newish . The bathroom was a little dated.
No food / hotel restaurant is available, but a tescos express up the road and an Indian down the other way. I'd actually not bother with the Indian, not great.

Please note that our rooms state online on the room/property descriptions that they are accessible by stairs only. Should any of our guests have any concerns regarding accessibility we advise to contact us directly so our team can assist as best as they can, we also have various alternative properties close by which feature ground floor accommodation.
For food options, although we do not provide food or beverages, there are plenty of options within a 2-5 minute walk of our accommodation. We are sorry to hear that your experience did not go as planned.

Horrible.

What a horrible experience. Television not working. Did not use shower as felt dirty. Hotel it is not. It’s a horrible room. Windows with black mould. Everything

The room was fine but the stairs were steep. Not a lot to do but it was fine for an evening.
