I asked to leave my large backpack behind the counter as check in was at 4pm. The gentleman kindly let me check in just after 1pm so I could attend the festival I was attending on time!
Very helpful and kind staff, the room has everything you need, very clean and well decorated, located just a couple minutes walk from the train station.
Will definitely stay here again when next visiting the Manchester area!

This hotel is marked as 4* but that must a different rating system. Hotel is as described yet not accurately described. I did not realise it was not manned, had to wait about 8 mins before the door was opened. Then there was a discussion about whether breakfast was included, I had paid for it but was informed as my booking was an X type, I would not get it! The room was a superior double; it was clean and relatively spacious but it smelled of smoke or some such. The bathroom was fine except the bath creaked when I stood in it to have a shower! And there was again a smell of something .. there was a very high window open that I could not close, it was about 10 ft high. But the biggest challenge was the parking, the drive towards the spaces at the back is very very tight, and there were about 4 spaces with very tight space to turn or exit. Unhelpfully, there was a back exit I was asked to take which was very steep steps and it wasn't helped by having flower pots on either side of the base of the staircase
