Not a pleasant experience

Appearances are deceiving, there were no towels, soaps in the room, half an hour to find a small soap and no shampoo. Restaurant stay away for dinner only fish and potatoes or chicken and potatoes, we chose fish! Inedible due to how dry and charred it was, they didn't set the table for us until we asked for glasses, cutlery, etc. to drink only water and juices (few), attention from the staff: ZERO, both at the restaurant and at the hotel!!

Avoid at all costs !

Absolutely disgusting - avoid at all costs. This so called “hotel” is actually the covid test centre for PCR tests. We booked 2 rooms here so we could rest whilst waiting for the results of our PCR test (we flew from a category 2 country so it is mandatory to have a test on arrive at Entebbe). Rooms are dingy and drab. Full of mosquitoes- dead and alive. Bathroom was infested so they came and sprayed then left the 3 million dead insects on the bathroom floor ! Air-con absent in one of the rooms. In our other room the air-con was so noisy and large bits of plastic flew out of the unit when we turned it on. It was so dangerous we couldn’t use it. Power sockets hanging off the walls. No restaurant on site so I don’t know why they off B&B rates. The so called “breakfast” is offered by an outside catering facility in a tent in a field, 10 minutes walk across dirt and grass. Only offering was deep fried chicken and bananas. Coffee was good but we had to pay for that at $3 per cup. Reception Staff were totally disinterested - if you could actually find someone. Lots of soldiers outside reception with rifles - assuming they are there to deal with anybody that kicks off complaining at the state of the hotel! Seriously - DO NOT BOOK this property.
