Villa sofia sultan ahmet

We were very satisfied with our stay. The owners and staff were extremely friendly, attentive, and helpful. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located. The products in the shop were of good quality and reasonably priced. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality. We highly recommend this place and would gladly stay here again.

The staff is wonderful, but the hotel needs urgent repairs.

I'll start with the pluses: the hotel's location is wonderful, the staff is polite and attentive, the breakfasts are beautifully served and really delicious.
Now, the downside. In room 204, I was met by a creepy mold hanging from the ceiling. The next day, I was moved to another room, but there, too, the condition left much to be desired. Both rooms could clearly use some general cleaning and some renovation.
The faucets in the shower are literally moving away from the wall, the outlets are not secure either, the doors and floors are badly shabby. No safe in the room.

Great place!

Very cozy hotel with excellent terrace view from the terrace bouldered on one side of the Bosphorus on the other overlooking Aya Safia. The food is delicious, the staff is great. I recommend it!

Not for families with children.

We had a family meal and when paying the bill it was the only restaurant in Turkey that asked us for a tip, the food was decent without more and the waiters ran to remove our plates as soon as we dropped our utensils they couldn't wait for us to leave, I do not recommend for families with children.

Disappointment

We chose this hotel based on the reviews of others...but where did they stay? This small hotel not very clean, very dated, has the only advantage of being located 300 meters from the basilica of Santa Sofia and have a nice terrace, but the one here you find in all the Structures.In the evening a hallucinatory confusion until late at night, even with closed windows.Breakfast included in the price, we have always had breakfast elsewhere and 'all say... forget it
