A terrible experience.
Upon leaving the hotel, we were absurdly and unbelievably accused of taking beach towels. Despite proving that the towels they thought we had taken were our own, instead of apologizing for their gross misconduct, we received a humiliating response like "it's not important," as if our wrongdoing was being forgiven. Despite our warnings, they persisted in their behavior, becoming the opposite of what we expected. The young man, whose name I don't know but who is supposedly (I believe) the manager, is very inexperienced for a tourism business; he has a lot to learn, both professionally and in terms of life experience. I definitely don't recommend it.

Disappointing
When we reported this to the hotel, we were told that someone would come by to spray mosquito repellent. After about an hour, someone did indeed come and completely sprayed the room. To mask the smell of the spray, toilet spray was then also used. The room stunk enormously after this treatment and there were more dead mosquitoes and insects everywhere in both rooms. I am not talking about a few mosquitoes at all; there were a huge number of them and they were really everywhere. It was no longer responsible or pleasant for us to stay there.
I indicated this myself and fortunately we were eventually able to go to another room in the evening. However, there were also dead insects and moreover this room was clearly in need of renovation. The situation was really not acceptable to us.
In addition, the paths around the hotel were full of chicken poop in several places. I understand that the hotel has an ecological character and that animals can be part of it, but in our opinion this should not be at the expense of the general hygiene and cleanliness of the hotel.
The beach was also very disappointing. There were an awful lot of stones, making it almost impossible to walk barefoot into the sea. We therefore had to buy swimming shoes ourselves, because we still wanted to swim in the sea.
When we then wanted to go to the sea with our newly purchased swimming shoes, there were no more sunbeds available. At the same time, we saw that there were about seven sunbeds unoccupied, but were marked with signs as “reserved”. Because of this, despite the fact that there were actually still sunbeds available, we could not use a sunbed.
In addition, people regularly walked on the beach from the adjacent hotel and the campsite. For example, there was also fishing on the beach of our hotel. This did not make us feel pleasant and safe, because it was very busy and accessible to all kinds of other people. Even when we went into town and then came back to the hotel, this did not give us the feeling that the site was clearly separated or safe.
The towels at the pool were up every day and we had to ask for this ourselves several times. Also at breakfast were regularly different products on. In addition, we saw with other guests that they could order an omelette, but nowhere was it indicated that this possibility existed. So we only found out because we saw this with other guests. We believe that this kind of possibility should be clearly indicated.
All in all, this was not a nice stay for us. We have experienced problems with the hygiene, maintenance, service and organization of the hotel on several levels. Unfortunately, we couldn't just leave because it was high season and we couldn't find another suitable hotel.
