The smallest restaurant and the coziest Pension in Vals. Extremely warm.

This small, romantic Pension is an insider tip in Wals. Here you are served in the friendliest way, learns a lot about the history of the Walser, gets a very good breakfast, and cosy rooms. We felt so comfortable that we extended each day for another day. Yeah. For cyclists this hotel is suitable, there is a lockable basement with sockets for recharging. We sat outside every evening and let ourselves be pampered by the delicacies of the host, Mr. Albin. Mousse au Chocolat is particularly recommended. Thanks to Mr. and Mrs. aline, we will gladly come back and highly recommend you.

Rustic stay

The accommodation in the oldest house of Vals is rustic and pleasant. We stayed in the eight-bed room. This was great and the sleeping comfort good. There were four comfortable showers available in the basement. The host couple was attentive and friendly.

Excellent

Can’t recommend this B&B highly enough. The owners are super kind and friendly. The food is delicious. The house is 500 years old and is still in the family. Loved everything including the honey liqueur, home made bread and especially the spiced plum jam.

Rustic charm with a friendly host

The B&B is in a 16th C house in the heart of the village of Vals. Modern bathrooms sit beside simple, rustic bedrooms, warm, comfortable beds and low ceilings. Some rooms are doubles with en suite, others have more beds and shared bathrooms. Wifi is available but few other mod cons (eg no TV). Instead the charm of this accommodation is its character and the friendliness and dry wit of the owner. Breakfasts consist of locally sourced produce. Evening meals, cooked by the owner, are reasonably priced, nourishing and tasty, although do not expect a wide choice. An excellent location to explore Vals and its surroundings for those preferring simplicity over opulence.

Gemütlich, einfach gut

Übernachten im ältesten Haus in Vals ist etwas besonderes Erlebnis.
Der Gastgeber ist sehr nett, er hat für alle die besten Informationen. Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt, komme im Sommer wieder. Das Abendessen war vorzüglich. Vielen Dank für die kurze Auszeit.
