Charming and familiar

Spent two relaxing nights at Chalet Sepp with friends. Great starting point for hikes.
Well-maintained, clean rooms in the new wing. Breakfast with everything you need and that strengthens you.
Very helpful and charming hosts & definitely worth a repeat visit

Group tour: Rip-off instead of goodwill

We hold an annual ski weekend in mass storage/multi-bed rooms. The group trip at Chalet Sepp was a big disappointment for us.
We planned a trip for about 14 people for a weekend. From the chalet or hotel we were offered a cabin room for 16 people and also reserved accordingly. However, we never received an actual booking confirmation. We knew the price from the internet. Due to the planned dinners we were in regular contact with the hotel.
Only 10 days before the trip we informed the definitive number of people of 12 and at the same time asked if a deposit was needed. Suddenly we were informed that we would be charged the 2 too many reserved beds. This came as a surprise to us, as we had never reported the exact number of people and therefore had never received a booking confirmation before.
It was then particularly questionable that we only received the booking confirmation on request, 5 days before the trip – and it was also dated two months before. This included the cancellation fees. If the booking confirmation had actually been sent at that time, we could have cancelled free of charge according to the conditions stated therein. Unfortunately, the procedure acts as a subsequent hedging at the expense of the customer.
In addition, the lineup even contained an obvious error: Instead of CHF 700.– per night, CHF 1,400.– was charged in one position – allegedly a “system error”.
I understand that short-term cancellations at hotels can incur high costs. But not for group travel in a mass camp!

Perfect for a weekend in the snow!

Nice but small room with comfortable beds. Good breakfast with very delicious bread. Very friendly staff. Perfect location! We will definitely come back.
