Top price performance
We were there at noon and are completely thrilled. The food was delicious and freshly prepared, the service attentive and friendly. We found it particularly positive that the head of gastronomy personally came to all guests and asked if everything is OK and meets our wishes.

Hotel top but service at Beach House unacceptable
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was very clean.
The breakfast was great and the rooms despite the age of the house very nice.
Unfortunately, however, the dinner at the Beach House was almost a disaster, as most of the staff in the service hardly cared about dirty or crockery-covered tables, so you felt like McDonalds when nobody cleaned up there.
And the waiting times were also unacceptable: It took 30 minutes to first respond to what we wanted to drink, then after another 20 minutes the appetizer came at the same time as the drinks, i.e. 50 minutes waiting for drinks and appetizers.
When we finished with the starter, it was only on explicit request and after a very long wait that it was cleared, so that we finally only received our main course after a total of 1.5 hours.

Cosy hotel right on the lake
At the Hotel Bad Murtensee we spent a wonderful extended weekend with friends. We could already move into our garden room at lunchtime, which was already great after the very friendly reception. The rooms are nice and very clean. The mattresses were a bit hard at best, although we didn't ask the reception about this either. The "beach restaurant" is located just a few meters in front of the hotel directly on the lake and the boat dock, with cozy chill chairs, is also directly there. We spent the whole day there and ate at the restaurant behind. Incredibly beautiful summer days... breakfast in the cosy courtyard is also worth mentioning, as is the cheap parking right in front of the hotel. We will come back!

Very disappointing
Grade for price/performance a clear 1. Very high price for extremely low performance. Old rooms, more than in need of renovation. Nothing has been done here for decades. Shower is only available in the bathtub, does not work at all. Sticky shower curtain and old, calcified fittings. Electrical outlets are in short supply. Hardly any charging possibilities for today's devices, unless you crawl around on the ground. Mattresses are a disaster. Rock hard, as was once the case 30/40 years ago. Minimum room furnishings, bed, chair, that's about it. The annex in which our room was built in the 70s and not much has happened since then. Here and there, maybe a new coat of white.
It should be noted it was clean.
Breakfast buffet offer was fine, service unfortunately completely overwhelmed due to staff shortage. Breakfast place was in an inner garden. Extremely unkempt and messy. Cables lying around, ancient lamps, unkempt.
Reception was very friendly. Extremely high price for what is offered. Location determines the price. Sorry, hotel is not recommended.

Dining at the beach house
Repeated eating at the beachhouse price performance for the fast food dining are not right. Especially pinsa with tomato puree and three möchken mozzarella for chf 24.- !! My complaint will be heard and I will be given a 10% discount. Service mostly friendly.
