Jewel in the Emmental

Whether for a fine dessert, a delicious dinner, or a family celebration - the Hirschen Eggiwil impresses in every situation. The quality of the food is always excellent; every visit is a small culinary high. Particularly noteworthy is the consistently attentive and friendly staff, who impress with great competence and warmth. Also worth mentioning is the great flexibility with which different wishes and occasions are accommodated. A restaurant/hotel that can be recommended with the best conscience and without reservation. The Hirschen Eggiwil impresses with enjoyment, warmth, and adaptability across the board!

Gastronomy where it is still lived and maintained with a lot of commitment

In the Hirschen restaurant in Eggiwil, the gastronomy is cherished and maintained and operated with much joy. We had a family celebration and decided on the restaurant Hirschen in Eggiwil which we can gladly recommend at any time. Our day started with a round of mini golf, which we could enjoy with lots of fun and joy on the beautiful well-kept complex in fantastic sunshine. The reception in the restaurant was extremely friendly and hearty. The food including dessert was excellently fine and delicious with lots of love and creativity served on the plates. From A to Z just top, Mood, services, cuisine, value for money there is still the good Swiss cuisine. We will come back.

Great little hotel

We received a voucher as a gift for this hotel. It was a wonderful discovery. The hotel is in a very quiet location. We had a very nice room that overlooked the meadow behind, we also had a sofa, a coffee machine and they provided a bed with cups for our dog.
In the afternoon we had a drink on their terrace which is very nice. In the evening we ate at the restaurant and the meal was very good. We also enjoyed their Jacuzzi, which we booked for an hour. It is outside and sheltered in case of rain. That was great. The next day we had breakfast and it was very hearty with all the local products. We can only compliment this small hotel. We will return with pleasure one day.

Beautiful hotel in a quiet location in the Emmental

Very quiet, nice, cozy hotel in the Emmental with a small wellness oasis outside in the garden. The rooms are very nicely decorated, coffee and tea possible. Breakfast rich, varied, what the heart desires. Just everything tiptop. Highly recommended. We will be back.

Great quiet and relaxing hotel

Our stay here was perfect thanks to the owners.
We planned to stay for one night, but we extended it to 3 nights due to the pleasant environment.
The owners are super flexible and nice, although we were few hours late for the check in, they waited for us and offered a very heart warming welcome.
The rooms are so cozy, very clean, and beds are comfortable.
The view is breathtaking, all you see is green valley, and all you hear is birds and cows bells. You can see tons of cows and some deers on the way.
The breakfast was great, the guys working there offered some options and made us fresh meals.
We asked the owner about attractions in the area, and he didn’t hesitate to make us a tour with his car to show us good places in the area.
There are many activities to do in the hotel it self, we spent at least two hours playing golf in the mini golf area, and there is an outdoor jacuzzi and a spa with sauna that you can use for free, and you can do a relaxing massage.
The bottom line; very recommended☺️
