Good, but not great!

We were 8 people who stayed here and we got only 1 key. Also very small with 1 bathroom for a 12 person room. Missing also dishwasher. But otherwise very good then! Cosy and quiet area. Nice to stay so close to Astrid Lindgren World!

Worn and unfresh accommodation

Nothing wrong with the staff and everything in the accommodation that was promised existed and worked.
But the standard is beneath contempt. Worn and unfresh. All equipment and furniture cheapest possible. The whole house shakes when the neighbor showers. Shelves that tilt so you can't put things on them. AC that only cools the living room and not the sleeping areas.
2600kr per night you pay and that includes no cleaning, breakfast, sheets or towels. Strongly advise you to choose ex-vis Fredensborgs hotel instead which is both more affordable and fresher and where everything is included. The proximity to the ALV is still no glow when you wake up tired and just want to get away from the accommodation.

Affordable accommodation near Astrid Lindgren's World

Perfect accommodation with private bathroom and kitchen. A little impractical furnished, and we lacked a freezer. But fully functional and convenient within walking distance to Astrid Lindgren's world. We got an apartment directly facing the street. The bedroom was also facing the street and we had an open window. Unfortunately, it was a popular place to smoke, so we had to keep the window closed. But there is ac so it was not hot despite the high summer heat.
Would love to have had a small private patio because it will be a bit hard to move all the food to the common dining tables in the courtyard.

bad service

What unprofessional people there are. An unpleasant man works at the reception. It is apparently he who owns the place. Busy without the slightest sense of service. When you ask for something, you are told that you are wrong and he is right.

Near Astrid Lindgren's World

We stayed here for 2 nights. There are small houses facing the courtyard. 2 floors. Kitchen, dining room, bathroom and room with a bunk bed downstairs. A very special staircase takes you up to 1 floor. There are another 2 beds in the sloping roof - not lockable with a door, but secured with a stair gate for small children.
The houses are a bit old. Broken things are not repaired - that's what it seems when you walk through the house. In our case, the bathroom was splashed and the toilet had not been cleaned. But this was taken care of when we reported it to reception. But it is generally not clean.
The location to Astrid Lindgren's World is particularly positive. Within walking distance (approx. 10 minutes). Astrid Lindgren's Näs is also very close by. The location is great.
