Price was not very high, so expectations not high either, but... suprisingly nice place in the middle of the fields and next to horsefarm. Rooms are clean and without frills but good beds and comfy duvets and two pillows (a big plus for me!). Rooms not super soundproof but not a problem.
Nice breakfast in small common room but guests made it work with the limited number of tables. Friendly and hardworking owner. Conveniently close to major road. Would definitely consider next time I will need accomodation near Linköping.
P.S. You can hear the main road but it is not disturbing and more a distant noise.
P.S. 2 You need to drive some dirt road to get there. Best option from the north and not west (longer and narrower)

Stayed one night with my dog. Lovely place, friendly staff, great dinner and breakfast. Two things might be good to know; there’s no air con so was incredibly warm, and they charge 150sek for use of the pool.

I can't say enough good things about this place. Would 100% recommend and will visit again.
A little outside the city, a huge plus for me, and peaceful.

Super cozy hotel in the countryside!

Peaceful reconnection

We stayed in Fölhuset. We were impressed by the cleanliness and how fresh the room looked. Very comfy bed and very clean bathroom. The owners were very friendly and helpful, trying their best to make us as comfortable as possible (first by getting us a bigger room since we travelled with our 11 months old daughter and even trying to arrange for a horseriding session). We booked last minute which, of course, make things more difficult to book/happen but they still had a "can do" attitude. Breakfast was amazing with freshly baked bread among other goodies. Very peaceful vibe at the breakfast area. Even though we didn't get to use the pool (chilly weather) or horseride, Stenholmens gård still deserves a 5 star⭐️. We will need an extra star for the other activities. Our daughter was mesmerised by the horses and it was a delight waking up tp the sound of hooves and horses neighing. We are definitely going there again.
