A "scent" of the old history - Hilma Winblads
The location is in the Old Linköping which is an area that is classified as a museum. The area is made out of old buildings from Linköping city center moved here.
Th B&B is in of these old houses.
The rooms are "time typical" from the time when the house was used in Old Linköping.
There is a small garden that you can sit in and enjoy your food (if you have bought take away or so) and drinks.
There is no restaurants or other normal "Amenities" that you normally find at B&B and/or hotels. There is no check in counter - all is done by email and codes to be used.
There is not AC in the rooms so it can be hot if you travel in the warmer period of the summer.
The breakfast is served in another building - it is a cafe that is part of the "museum" called Dahlbergs Cafe. A place which also have the aura of old history. The breakfast is not in the vast category but serves the basics and also cover most of tast preferenses.
It takes roughly 20 min to walk to city center or you can take the bus which is located just outside the area.
There is a parking which can be used 24 hrs to a cost of ~ 4 EUR/24 hr.
So if you want to try some different then this is the place to go to.

Nice room in old fashioned style
Cold in the room when we arrived but it was the warmest day of spring. Some small defects in the room; hence a third instead of four: a lamp by the bed didn't work, future blockage in the sink drain, only herbal tea at the kettle.
If there had been a reception it would have been an easy matter to get a lamp, but as it was now having to call someone elsewhere made it more difficult.

Cozy and caring trip back in time
The breakfast is served at nearby Dahlberg's café and was excellent with a large selection and friendly service. Really recommend for a cozy and warm stay in Linköping!

What a charming place
We loved to stroll around the "old town" and had a great breakfast in the "town" café.
Very good location
