Cozy castle day deluxe with good food and drink

We booked the castle day deluxe with welcome coffee and a 5-course dinner. Nice with coffee and cake on the terrace upon arrival. The food was fantastically good and the wine package went well with it. Knowledgeable and very nice staff. We had a small dog with us and had booked a farmhouse room that was spacious and nicely decorated. The dog was allowed in the room during dinner and breakfast. The breakfast had most to be desired. The 4 km promenade that was mentioned was poorly marked and not very nice to walk on, we think. Fine castle park, borders a golf course so perfect for golfers.

Stayed at Bjertorp Castle last year and then decided to go back now in spring.
A beautiful and dominant castle reveals itself in the beautiful nature when one drives into the parking lot and we had a magnificent spring weather. Pleasantly received at the reception and got a large and nice room out to the park. We decided to enjoy the fine weather and walked the green-marked path around the large property, about 4 km.
Then we relaxed in the salons with something good in the glass while admiring the beautiful decorations and paintings; here sits old history in the walls. Delightful 5-course dinner served in a beautifully decorated dining room and served by a gentle, nice and knowledgeable waitress.
Woke up the next day fresh and obvious after a good night’s sleep and then we ate a delicious breakfast.
This is the hotel is a fantastic experience and is well worth a visit, we will be guaranteed to return

Perfekt break travelling from Gothenburg to Stockholm

A rare gem on the Swedish country side, met my expectation across the line. Good food and wine list.

Fantastic nice and quiet! Perfect when you just want to be and drink well and eat well! Such nice rooms!! Fantastic staff!

What an improvement!

We visited Bjertorp Castle a few years ago and were very disappointed with the choice of dishes.
To give the castle a chance, we made a return visit. New chef and we've had to reevaluate our opinions. Very good food with accompanying wine package.
Great accommodation and nice staff.
We will come back!!!
