Not up to 4-star level

The Quality Hotel Match appears to rely almost exclusively on the views that it offers and it's central location, both of which were good. However, beyond that, the many money-saving short-cuts that it is taking quickly become obvious. Rooms are tiny but clean. However, the provision of one tiny 50x60cm lumpy pillow per guest is seriously inadequate. Being told that we also had to go down to reception to collect more ourselves revealed that there is only one member of staff, the receptionist, who is doing everything. The towels were the worst I have ever encountered in a hotel, thin, fraying and giving a great exfoliation (whether you want it or not). The rooms were also very hot with little effect from the 'aircon'. Breakfast was nice, (although crumbs were left all over the seating) but for me this didn't make up for the feeling that this hotel simply wasn't at a typical 4-star standard.

Nice and clean hotel close to most things in Jönköping

Before an event in Jönköping I stayed at Quality Hotel Match which is located across the street from Central Station which makes it perfect for travelers arriving by train.
The hotel is large and fresh and a landmark in the city. It is located right next to the protected Match Area in the city which also means that it is close to most things = walking distance.
The room was very nice and the view was amazing. The right size with an attached bathroom, also in the right size. Both mattress and pillows invited you to a nice sleep. The desk is suitable for working a little if required.
The breakfast buffet doesn’t break for picks and offers an incredible amount to choose from. Overall, my stay here was good but should I comment on something, it is that there are both safes and refrigerators in the room which is a bit of a shame and something I am used to from my travels.

Cozy weekend in Jönköping

The hotel room was nicely perfect for a night to stay in. Unfortunately, the weather was not with us otherwise we would have seen how far over Lake Vättern. Also had wanted clay pillows in bed. Otherwise, it was great. Close to all restaurants, we had booked table at Blackstone Steakhouse, can be recommended

Slow check in many customers only one counter active

Room was ok but temperature was low in the room and hard to increase
Shower head had no pressure on the water
Breakfast options was ok but do not like knives for cutting laying in/on the food to risky
Internet works fine
Dinners in the evening menu expensive for a small portions
