Nice campsite by the sea.

Great location. Clean and tidy in the service building and very nice staff. The location right by the sea makes it not worse. Will gladly return.Helen o Bertil

Decent 4-night stay, but not a "wow" experience.
We stayed for 4 nights, and it was okay. The cabin was quite small, but manageable. The bed was fine, and the small kitchen and bathroom were okay for the size of the cabin.
It’s a quiet place with a nice playground, which was great since our 6-year-old son could easily run over and play. The beach was nice and the water was warm, though we were a bit skeptical about actually swimming in it.
Having access to a laundry room was super helpful for a 4-night stay. Overall, an okay place, but nothing extraordinary.

Nice sea camping

We have been here several times! It is a nice beachside and dog friendly sea camping.
The campsite has new Owners 2024 who renovated the reception and it is better organized at check-in.
We were nicely treated and the service building is simple but clean and fresh and free showers.
It is a few km to the center. Nearby are several baths and restaurant pier. A nice ice cream parlor is next to the reception!

Tredenborg

First time we were at Tredenborg Camping. Overall a nice place. A small campsite that iye was crowded despite mid July. There is a beach and nice paths to walk with dog. The campsite claims to be skin friendly which we absolutely felt it was. The staff we met were very nice. There is a small kiosk for snacks and other things and brewed coffee for take away can be bought. Expensive but good. We chose to stay in Cottage and all cottages welcome dog. The cottage is very small (stands sqm on the website) although it was called a large cottage. The cottage was well ok with it you need beds toilet shower, sofa and dining table. But you can barely sit at the dining table because the couch is so crowded. Available so you can have self-catering with two hotplates and porcelain what you need. The beds vsr really bad. The first night we tried the bunk bed but it was not very good and the room that only holds the bunk bed gets really warm. Can not have open window when it swarmed of mosquitoes outside. The second night we tried the sofa bed instead. Something better, just as warm. When returning home, residents must clean or get the room paid for. We chose to clean ourselves. The description says that you should vacuum and wet dry floors. But there was no vacuum cleaner. So we contacted the reception and announced that the vacuum cleaner was not available and the staff says that it is wrong and that we do not need to vacuum at all but be wet wipe the floors. But since we live with dogs, we know that a big vacuum is needed and asked for a vacuum cleaner there anyway. We were heard and on the morning of departure con the cleaning perobal with vacuum cleaner. The cottage is very worn and has a wooden floor that has run its course a long time ago. It vsr probably newly painted walls which was nice but the toilet / shower was not so nice either. Since residents themselves clean, I wonder how thorough people are at cleaning because it is not perceived clean and how checks for the cleaning work. Overall the stay was good but the cottages need to be fixed to make it worth the money. The area was cozy and nice and well maintained.

Tredenborg is now BORING and UNPERSONAL!

There is no "Glamping" anymore and the site is outdated with old pictures.
There is a new owner it the camping site is boring and dead.
Unfriendly and sterile - not like it was previous years.
No food in the reception, just ice cream and coffee. It used to be a restaurant with full alcohol rights, pizza and hamburgers with a glass of wine or beer.
No activities for the children and very few guests.
The mini golf is not the same and also very boring.
The new owners have a lot to do to make it "family friendly" - WHICH IT IS NOT!
Avoid this place for a disappointing experience.
