Great hotel

Very nice hotel with wonderful breakfast that could be eaten in the lovely outdoor garden. Highly recommended!

Fantastic hotel

Very nice hotel right in the center. Nice and clean hotel room. Very nice breakfast.
Nice bartender who made good Irish coffee. Cozy. I'll be back.

No doubt one of the best hotels on Öland, with a high-end restaurant and bar attached to it. Please note that if you arrive on a Sunday, the bistro-like part is not open for service, but there are plenty of other restaurants nearby. Fantastic breakfast buffet including some unexpected extras such as home-made Swedish cheesecake.

Wedding day

WOW!!! The service that Hotel Borgholm delivers is in a class that is rarely experienced today! We're here to celebrate our anniversary, and we won't be disappointed.
Already on arrival, the receptionist is well-informed about our booking and gives a clear information about the evening and morning, while very discreetly training the bartender in the adjacent bar which is then exclusively new to the job.
We arrive in the room, where we are met by booked check-in package AND further congratulations, a package with candy bars and a gift from the hotel! Of course, the hotel is now highly rated and not much can burst this bubble.
Down for dinner, here we are met with a high service and a nice atmosphere, we are shown to the table where the flag stands and further congratulations on the wedding day.
We are presented tonight's menu and accompanying wine and await these, the amazing waitress Sofie makes our evening unforgettable with her charm and her confidence-inspiring knowledge despite(!) 'New at work' sign. (Here is probably the only improvement call to Hotell Borgholm, even new to the job may have a name.)
All in all, I can not but give Hotell Borgholm 5/5 possible!!
