The family room was quite spacious. However the cables for kettle and hairdrier were much too short and the shower gel was empty.

Central hotel but a bit dated

Centrally located hotel in Arvika and nice woman at the front desk at check-in which was very understanding and accommodating. The room was large, but very dated and even the public areas of the hotel are worn and a bit shabby in some places. The bathroom was large, but worn and flickering lamp and cracked floor in the shower.
The beds were decent, but the pillows were very strange and lumpy and flabby and with uneven padding. A bit responsive and a bit warm in the rooms and we missed the fridge and the AC was broken. The breakfast had good selection and there was porridge and a lot of fruit and melon that we like. At check-out it was a little more lukewarm treatment of a younger girl. It would be fun if they asked if we had a good stay. Think the hotel needs renovation soon.

Not really a Scandic standard

Very nice room but that was the only positive about the hotel. Old dirty restaurant, employees who have breakfast with the guests. Just before the breakfast closing, they started throwing cutlery and food with a loud noise. He didn't feel welcome at all. Topped with parking that costs 195:- for a night, it's cheaper to park anywhere in the city. It's not exactly the Scandic image I had so far.

Find another hotel

Booked superior room. The bed was placed under a sloping roof, and it was not possible to sit up. In order to get out of bed, one had to “push” out to not stake his head in the ceiling.
In the shower, the water flowed out across the bathroom, the water did not flow down into the extinguisher (the extinguisher was not sunk).
In the so-called wellness area there was a tiny pool. None of the bathrooms were warm. Drive away

Front desk staff wonderful. Entrance and ground level immaculate. Breakfast great. Room probably needed an update. Gutted we travelled such a long way (UK), checked in late and couldn't used the pool etc the next morning as closed.
