Great Place

Excellent value for money. The rooms were exceptionally clean, spacious, and comfortable. The food was delicious, and the overall experience was wonderful. Highly recommended

Very pleasant stay

The host was extremely friendly and spoke very good German, which made communication pleasant and straightforward. The room was very spacious and absolutely clean – as was the bathroom, which also offered plenty of space. The only small minus: The rooms are a bit noisy. Overall, however, a very pleasant stay.

Heaven on earth

First class, on Uppuveli beach. Staff, rooms and food were all excellent. I hate to write this review as we want to return and may find Blue Waters fully booked . To all travellers to Trincomalee this a must place to stop. The staff are unbelievable and nothing is too much trouble.

Disappointing. Incomprehensible positive reviews

Very simple stay. Positive: the rooms are neat, there is a fridge, the AC works well and there is hot water.
Negative : very uncozy room, bathroom very basic, the towels had stains.
The courtyard garden is unkempt, no planting, flowers, .. only the reception looks well looked after. Breakfast and dinner are served at the communal terrace.
Location is not good, even very bad to call : no restaurants, shops nearby, far from Things to do. The beach is not very attractive, very dirty.
Breakfast is not included : you get a drop down menu. The options were such that we have waived breakfast on site.
Contrary to all the rave reviews, there was no friendly welcome. We got the room designated with the key and the price list for the options.
This was by far the worst stay of our fourteen-day tour in Sri Lanka. For a few dollars more we had a high quality stay elsewhere.

Excellent property.. go for it!!

Precisely as per listing
Big clean comfortable rooms
Clean big bathroom
Good functional AC, Geyser & Electric Kettle
A minute walk from the beach.. you can rather see the beach from room window
Very helpful staff and allowed us to cook meals for our baby as a special case too
Overall loved our stay at this place on Uppuveli beach
PS: they serve quite decent food too for all meals
