Loved it!

Such a wonderful and charming place for the budget traveler. I love the art and the people. An upbeat atmosphere that's great for solo travelers! I made tons of friends and stayed for almost a month. It was cleaned and mopped each day. Also the homemade food was to die for.

Not a place for silence!

I might be affected by that I was sick during my stay here, but it is still worth to mention that this is not a place to go if you would like some peace and quite, or cleanliness. The traffic is surrounding all walls of this hostel, so no matter where you are you’ll constantly feel like you’re sitting alongside the highway. It is also not possible to block the sound out in the rooms, because they have some extra air entry’s that is not possible to close.
The receptionst was however the loveliest lady, with always a warm and helpful smile :)

360 Roof Top bar

We popped in to this roof top bar to do some admin work. They helped us to find power points and made us welcome.
Lovely space to work and chill. Great chilled music vibes.
We found out it’s only been open 5 days. Good work!

Amazing memories here

This little spot is a gem! A block from the beach, full of murals, and spacious comfortable beds... Surfing every day and partying every night. I already want to go back!!

Inviting Place to Be

Spent five nights here and could have easily stayed for a few more. The dorm rooms are large and light which is a refreshing change. The team who run the hostel are warm, friendly and helpful and are happy to organise anything or assist where possible, just ask.
It does get a little noisy from all the busses speeding along the road, but you're in Sri Lanka so you should be used to that by now! If not by now, you soon will be. It's a 2 minute stroll to the beach and the perfect place to rest after a morning in the surf. It's also in a very central location, so you won't be walking far to find much.
