Staying at Green Luxe was one of the highlights of our holiday in Sri Lanka
Right from the start, they made things so easy by arranging personal taxi transfers to and from the airport (and they can even sort out rides to your next stop). The accommodation itself is wonderfully clean, spacious, and feels genuinely luxurious. Plus, spending afternoons by the beautiful pool in their quiet, tranquil gardens, which are just full of birds and butterflies, was lovely.
The food was a massive highlight. Every single meal was superb, incredibly plentiful, and cooked by the host family using fresh produce straight from their own garden. They were also incredibly accommodating with dietary requirements.
Location-wise, it’s in a wonderfully quiet spot but close enough to easily access by car/taxi to places like Kandalama Lake, the Golden Temple, the Dambulla Caves, Sigiriya, elephant safaris, and the local spice gardens.
What really sets Green Luxe apart, though, is the family. Harshani speaks fluent English, and the entire family is just so incredibly warm and welcoming. Their constant smiles and genuine desire to make sure we had the best trip possible made this our absolute favourite place to return to in Sri Lanka.
