Small Oasis in Kandy

This was one of the best properties we booked in Sri Lanka. The room and generally the hotel was very clean and well maintained! The hotel is located in a residential area outside the city and is therefore quiet. Perfect for a quiet and relaxing night. The staff is very helpful and the breakfast was also delicious.
This small boutique hotel with 8 rooms we can only recommend.

Ok but food not great

Lovely room but no choice of food in the restaurant. No alcohol. One night they lost our bedroom key. We had to eat outside.

Nice hotel but a lot of issues with service

This hotel offers great views over Kandy especially from the bar. However the balcony only fits tables for 2.
Double rooms have a 4 poster bed and fabulous views and balcony. Twin rooms are at the back with no view.
Not sure what the issue with lighting or power is but I’ve never stumbled around a hotel especially with so many stairs in the dark before.
I’m not sure if it was language barrier or simply no care factor but we had a lot of issues with staff understanding us.
We advise three times that we didn’t want anyone going into a room and we didn’t not want our room serviced but came back to find our room had been serviced They were very apologetic and didn’t charge us for our laundry as an apology.
Hotel was not aware of our dietary requirements or didn’t pay attention not sure which but it was a challenge even after the nice chef speaking to us

Nice stay just 7/8 km out from Kandy.
Amazing breakfast and staff very very kind.
Rooms are well equipped not super super cleaned.

Nice comfortable hotel in a quiet area with small pool.

Very nice modern and renovated hotel on the heights of Kandy, quiet. About 13 rooms. Beautiful rooms decorated with care. Lift. Small swimming pool on the 2nd floor, but sometimes to share with monkeys!!!
Good buffet breakfast and very good evening meal with international or Sri Lankan cuisine!
Other restaurants located 5 minutes walk a little further to the left when leaving.
Recommend
