A peaceful stay

This guesthouse located in the heights of Kandy is really very pleasant. I stayed there for three nights and really enjoyed my stay. The establishment can be a little difficult to find, but has the advantage of being located in a very quiet area, while remaining quite close to the city center (around twenty minutes on foot to reach the train station for example). The owner couple was very friendly and helpful. My room was spacious, clean and well equipped; the bedding was comfortable and the bathroom was functional. The breakfast was good and very generous (and different every morning), almost everything being homemade. I stayed in this guesthouse during the monsoon and was therefore not able to enjoy the outdoors, but my room had a large terrace. The value for money is really excellent and I can only recommend this establishment for a peaceful stay in Kandy.

Wonderful homestay

We had a brilliant 1 night stay at Beam Resort.
We arrived late but this was no problem for the very welcoming owners. We were offered continental or Sri Lankan breakfast and opted for Sri Lankan - delicious home cooked and loads of it! Which they later packed up for us to take for lunch!
Comfy bed, WiFi & power even during the current government enforced cuts, due to them being located close by a hospital. And a beautiful garden balcony terrace to sit out on from our room!
Would certainly stay again if we had more time in kandy!

Amazing homestay

Such a friendly family, they made us feel so welcome. Great breakfast, so much choice, much more than we could eat. Very comfortable quiet room, comfortable bed, hot water, WiFi. They have a beautiful garden and the house is located up in the hills, 20 min walk down and 300 rupees for a tuck tuck.The family helped us to arrange a scooter and helped us with information about things to visit. We would for sure stay there if we come back to Kandy.

Great Kandy homestay

We stayed at Resort Beam twice during our trip to Sri Lanka. We had a great stay both times. The room we had was a good size, the bed was comfortable, there was plenty of hot water for the shower and the WiFi was good. The breakfasts were fantastic, something different every day. The family that run the homestay were friendly and extremely helpful. They were able to give advice on things to see and do in Kandy and arrange transport for us.

Nice quite place in Kandy

Stayed here for 1 night but easily could have stayed longer. Nice quite place in busy Kandy. The hosts were really friendly and helpful! Pointed out everything we needed to know for our trip. Would surely recommend!
