I Like It

Friendly staff, clean rooms, good location, good food and a very nice vibe.
I stayed for 2 days and if I visit Kandy again I will stay at the Backpackers Hostel again.

Very nice people, food was excelent, pool area relaxing. Not in the city center, but 5 minutes walk from the lake, was perfect!

Brilliant Backpacker Bed

This hostel was just perfect, especially for travelling solo. As soon as I arrived I felt so welcomed and was given a tea and some sweet treats. I really enjoyed the cookery course and of course eating the food afterwards. The room was basic, but clean and had everything I needed.

Three nights at Backpackers Hostel

Perfect place to start my journey in Sri Lanka! Warm, welcoming and nice people. I had a Deluxe room with balcony and own bathroom, it was super clean and nice. AC worked well. Second and third night normal room, with shared bathroom. Also really clean and ac worked well! Dorms are really nice and clean. Had two days same tuktuk driver called Jayantha (+94 72 572 9509), he is the best! Cheap price and a good knowledge of the places in Kandy and also in Sigiriya. Just ask Jayantha from the staff at the hostel, they know. Big recommendation for this place!

Super

City Tour with our guide Sonic was very fun.
Beds clean and all staff very friendly. Get to know many young backpackers and do a lot with them.
Pool is a cool plus and the dog even more so
Gladly again
