My favourite yoga spot in Colombo

I’ve loved Om Shambhala since finding out about it back in 2017. I find the ambience authentic, spiritual and less commercialised than others in the city.
They always have a good choice of instructors and different kinds of yoga practises to suit all levels. Love their monthly poya meditation too. Will return!

Small and sensitively designed modern boutique hotel with regular yoga classes.

Single occupant in a room with a queen bed, private rainshower bath, small patio. Room has complimentary tea, coffee, satellite TV. Excellent lighting, firm bed, thick towels and robe, good toiletries. Breakfast included and kitchen available should guests wish to prepare vegetarian meals. Daily rate = $45.00.

Extremely peaceful stay in the middle of Colombo

First of all, the place was super clean and extremely well maintained. That was they key. Spacious room and a wonderful bathroom. Staff was very friendly and supportive. Property manager Kaumadie assisted us well. Would be nice if they had some good variety for breakfast.

Meditative Place - just fantastic!

We were lucky, that we found that very nice place on the website of the My Little Island Hostel, where we actually booked a double room. Very quiet, very, clean, very beautiful and tasteful design. And there we had the best (egg) hoppers on our 4week trip around Sri Lanka! If we come back to Sri Lanka, we'll definitely come back to On Shambhala!

Excellent place . Awesome staff

I stayed at Om Shambhala for two nights . We were a group of seven so we took two rooms. The place is nothing short of divine . Absolute opulence in terms of architecture and spacious rooms. Icing on the cake is the big bathroom with bath tub. Ms. Kaumadie the manager of the place is a wonderful person . She was very helpful right from communication and also making sure our stay was perfect . Susie was very kind as well . Their breakfast was amazing . We had string hoppers with fruits and juice . The place is treated like a temple so the footwear has to be kept out . That was the best part . They say work is god and work place is temple. Shambhala proves that , hands down . The location is quite good with many sight seeing spots near by . I recommend this wonderful place . This is ideal for solo travelers , couples as well as families . Om!
