Magical family getaway

Can Bassa is by far one of the most beautiful, relaxing, and magical places we’ve ever stayed as a family (and we travel often). Pedro and his family who have run the property for 20+ years helped us as a family with young kids feel extremely comfortable and just as welcome as every other guest on the property (which can be hard to find!). There is peace and beauty to be found at Can Bassa no matter the type of traveler you are! We stayed 6 nights and hope to visit again. I highly recommend.

Great experience!

We had a great experience at Can Bassa and enjoyed the hospitality from Dani and his family. Very well maintained accommodation in a lovely old village.

Excellent

The atmosphere in this hotel is one of absolute calm and tranquility; during the day you can softly hear the swallows and at night the cicadas. You can tell it is a family hotel where they take care of every detail and the service is close and warm. I would stay again without hesitation; in one weekend I rested as much as in a week of vacation!

Beautiful setting but could be much better for the price

Beautiful quiet location albeit a bit smelly during the evenings and early mornings from nearby farms. Definitely not for all families as there is a lot of driving involved. There’s air conditioning in only some places of the villa and not all rooms as expected which makes it too uncomfortable to sleep during summer. Hopefully you receive the correct advice on where to visit by reception as it was a hit and miss on their part and a waste of our day. There are additional costs that you need to be aware of like pool towels, cleaning etc.

Unfortunately there is a nearby farm which might have been smelly for those dates, but it isn't normally. We are located in the countryside and our town is small, so it is reccomended to drive around places to discover our beautiful Costa Brava.
In all our apartment we have air conditioning, since we have been going through three wave of heat this July, we where dealing with temperatures that aren't normal at all.
We do not remember which advice we gave you but we try to make your experience as remarkable as possible but we do our best.
These extra costs are advised online and in person when you are hosted here.
We are sorry if we did not meet your expectations.

Fantastic! We was for relax and we was happy to find relax time for me and my husband.we go every years and always for us is fantastic , alsa the staff very friendly and profesional.
