Spanish hotel - Good food/drinks - More 3 Star
Room 4/5
The room I received was large and spacious. Lots of storage options such as a wardrobe and a safe. The housekeeping was very good and cleaned every day. Towels replenished and bed sheets also.
The reason for deducting 1 star is because whilst the room itself is decent. I don’t think it reflects a 4 star property. The bedside lamps flicker (Room 214) on the reading lamp and there are some scuffs and marks on the furniture. Also the balcony furniture is worn and could do with replacing. (If this was a 3 star hotel I would seem acceptable)
Food and drink 4/5
Very good selection of food and drinks. All inclusive drinks are branded spirits and soft drinks such as Pepsi and Absolut vodka.
The food in the restaurant is average. In terms of selection very good. However the way it is presented in metal dishes is not how to present 4 star food.

Staff at this hotel are great. Very conversational even with limited English spoken. Before anyone starts, I knew this was a Spanish hotel and it was actually the reason I booked as I know some Spanish phrases and like to practice my language! You are in Spain so give it a go!
My reason for a 1 star deduction is that my room key kept deactivating multiple times a day and the response at the reception was slow and laboured. I didn’t receive a real apology. Just that it happens and they gave me 2 cards in case it did happen again.

??? Are we ZOO? Birds flying along restaurant? Near food?? Seriously? Even in Egypt is more clean - no birds - at restaurants!!! Don't you know birds transfer viruses etc?? This is 3rd class hotel, for sure 4stars is at least 3 too much.

What more can you want
We are currently staying here and this is our second visit. Having seen some of the negative reviews I felt I needed to add a review. Firstly to the person who gave a one star because nuggets were only served once a week and his child had nothing to eat. This is your fault as a parent not the hotel. The food at these hotels is self service and has to cater for many nationalities and this is a Spanish hotel not McDonalds in the sun. We actually found the standard of food excellent, there might be things you don’t like but that’s normal. The hotel is not brand new but the rooms are massive, the hotel is spotless and every where you look the staff are busy working and are often ignored by the guests. This place has character and if as a guest you have a preconceived idea then it is not the hotels fault. For the second time it is fantastic. The staff are great but English is not their first language, whoopee we’re in Spain. I’m sure if Spaniards went to the Uk there maybe a language barrier!! For us a beautiful clean hotel on the beach with wonderful well kept grounds, good food and great staff, what could you ask for more??

I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT!!!
The package that is being sold as all inclusive it is not. If you want to have all inclusive you need to purchase the all inclusive imperial when you arrive at the hotel. The food selection it is very poor. If you want an ice cream for the kids you need to pay separately. The rooms can keys never work, you need to go to reception 6-7 times a day to tell them it's not working and recharge it. The staff barely speaks any English (you can barely order a coffee). If you want to change the pool towels you need to pay 1 euro per towel every time you change it. That also tell you about some costs that we didn't know when we made the booking, like they have to upgrade the room and you have to pay otherwise our room will be God knows where. For parking, if you rwnt a car, it is 18 euros per day in the hotel parking otherwise you have to leave it on the street. I do not recommend this resort at all!!! I can say that this resort doesn't deserve the rating that it has. If you don't havr the room card with you, you can't get food, drinks, nothing. I definitely do not recommend this resort!
