Great everything. The hotel is very nice, clean and in a very quiet location. The bed is comfortable. The only small drawback is the bathroom that is not equipped with ventilation fan The owner is really extremely helpful and very kind. He gave me some very useful suggestions. Would highly recommend

Clean hotel, lovely staff at Villa Soledad
I had a great stay, in a lovely clean room, and the staff were incredibly friendly and kind. Thank you to Samuel, Paloma and Natanael for being welcoming and helpful throughout. The hotel is an easy walk to the main plaza, and near lots of shops and restaurants. Specifically inside my room, great to have a fridge with a small icebox, air conditioning and a balcony for watching the world go by. Shower was hot, bathroom spotless and whenever I needed help, the staff were excellent…arranging a taxi to the airport, and providing a hairdryer as examples.

Ideal base
Situated less than 10 minutes walk from the station - from there, regular commuter services of 20 minutes to Madrid Atocha terminus. Located in a typical suburban street with plenty of shopping and eating nearby. Free, on-street or covered parking available close by.
Rooms are standard ensuite bath/shower and have tv and free internet access. Housekeeping is better than a lot of more expensive national companies and staff are friendly and knowledgeable.
A continental breakfast is available at 4€ and taken in the lounge foyer on a self-service basis. An ideal base for exploring Madrid and surrounding areas.

Great option
I paid 102€ for 3 nights in a single room (it actually was a double). Staff are friendly, professional and attentive. On the first day I got there late for lunch and they served me a delicious 3 course meal with a glass of wine for 11€. Rooms are basic, but with everything you need (bathroom, toiletries, flat TV screen and aircon/heatpump) and they are nice, tidy and clean. A little bit noise coming from other rooms (doors are loud) and the patio (coming from a bar nearby) but nothing major. If there is a small complaint was that the room, beds and pillows stank of stale tobacco. It would be great if rooms were non-smoking or at least some rooms where smoking is prohibited. But I guess this is still Spain nowadays. It will hopefully get better. Anyway, I was happy there and this place is a good value. I'd be back at that rate if no other options are available. Thanks!

Buena calidad-precio
Muy céntrico, habitaciones grandes y limpias, una sugerencia que les haría es que sería bueno que pusieran secador en las habitaciones, no sé si se lo pides a lo mejor tienen pero yo cuando llegue ya no había recepción, eso sí, están muy pendientes de ti, se preocupan personalmente vía WhatsApp de ti llegada, te avisan cómo entrar, me sentí muy cómoda con ellos, se lo agradezco. Aparcar como siempre al ser en el centro es imposible, pero hay un parking muy cercano y muy barato, si lo metes de 8 a 20, o viceversa solo te cobran un euro. Un buen lugar para ver la ciudad y si es Navidad, estás al lado de la ciudad de la Navidad.
